2013 XC Trip Dates
Hi All
There's snow in the mountains. And the skis are rattling in the cabinet. Ski season is upon us.
We have confirmation on the trips for the 2013 season and all the caches are in. It's "the usual" set of great trips -- an overnight to scenic Glacier Point, a two-nighter at Glacier Point, a three-night trip to the congenial Ostrander Ski Hut, and the four-night Trans-Sierra tour.
Special thanks to all those who took in the caches, with a particular hip-hip-hoorah for Mark and Betsy Blume for putting it all together, as well as getting the last of the stuff into the Glacier Point cabins.
Here's the schedule for the 2013 season:
January 19-20: First Ski at the Pitts' Peregrine or Falcon's Nest in Yosemite West (7509 Henness Circle).
February 2-3: Glacier Point I
February 15-18: Ostrander Ski Hut
March 1-3: Glacier Point II
March 20-24: Trans-Sierra tour
Yosemite Winter Club Cross Country Section- First Ski
Greetings to all.
We are hoping everyone is doing well and anticipating a great ski season. We wanted to let everyone know that First Ski. potluck and Section meeting is scheduled for the weekend of January 19/20 at the Pitts' Yosemite Peregrine in Yosemite West. We are still wating on the final word from the NPS and Yosemite Conservancy on the trip dates. Once we have those nailed down, we will be sending out the Cross Country Section newsletter with trip details and application. More details to come. And do your snow dance in the meantime.

YWCXC Newsletter and trip application for the 2012 ski season!!
Hello All, here at last are the YWCXC Newsletter and trip application for the 2012 ski season!! As always please 
share the Newsletter with prospective members and XC ski enthusiasts, we are always looking to attract new members to join in the fun. The deadline for the application with trip fee is December 31.
A big THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who retrieved caches over the summer, and to everyone who showed up at Mark and Betsy's to shop and pack the caches for the new season.
We hope to see lots of you at First Ski on January 21-22.

Cross Country Application and Newsletter
Hi All
Here are the application form and trip newsletter for the 2011 cross country ski season. As you'll see from the attachment, this season we will have two outings to the Glacier Point cabin, one mid-week trip to the Ostrander Hut, and our traditional Trans-Sierra ski tour. The season will kick-off with the First Ski potluck at the Pitts' house in Yosemite West.
Remember to join the main Yosemite Winter Club and send in your signed release form to the Yosemite Winter Club, as well as turning in your trip application to us.
Please send us your trip application by December 31, 2010.
Please send the YWC dues directly to the YWC, or pay online.
