What a terrific 2010-2011 winter! We had plenty of snow and ice to play in. We are ever thankful for the Delaware North Company for their generous support of our activities by providing benefits and facilities to our members. A special thanks to Dan Jensen who supports activities through Delaware North AND by being a faithful member! Colin Baldock, Deb Evans, Sean Costello, Mike Poisson and the Badger grooming team are always friendly and happy to help our members and board with our activities. So many others at Delaware North make Yosemite Winter Club happen in food and beverage and group services-- THANK YOU so very much!
Our Yosemite Winter Club skating and hockey program went really well! Kudos to Jim Bacon, Gary Finnestad, Dave Kari, Carol Johnson, Marty Fazio and Lisa Benson. To all those other helpers who aided our skaters and emerging hockey players -- thanks!
Skiing across the Sierra, down Badger or over rails on Beaver occurred all winter long! Many thanks to Terry and Melinda Rivasplata for handling cross country needs! Our gratitude to coaches Tom Medema and Rick Young, encouraging our racers, and Kelly Martin and Lee Tarnay for inspiring our emerging racers. Ingelise Guy and Kirstie Kari began our freestyle team and insured they were always busy jumping and learning new tricks! Thank you very much!
