Meet Yosemite Winter Club Board Members

• President -  Barb Armon -- Involved with Yosemite Winter Club since 2002, Barb loves the outdoors in winter. Presently she lives in the Yosemite Valley, married to David and a mother of three children whom all share the love of winter due to their previous homes in Anchorage, AK and Buffalo, NY. As president her goals are to increase membership, utilize the website more effectively and win the Ancient Jocks race.

  • Vicki Mates -- Vicki has been a member of the Yosemite Winter Club since 2004 and learned of the club as an NPS employee, park resident, and winter enthusiast. When not out enjoying skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, backpacking, great YWC social events, or other fabulous activities in Yosemite, she works as an interpretive exhibit specialist for Yosemite National Park, overseeing the park's interpretive exhibits, publications,
    and other media products.
